The Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D is an advanced wide-angle prime lens featuring a rectilinear optical design to ensure virtually zero distortion for clear and accurate capture of landscapes and architecture. Designed for full-frame Nikon F-mount FX-format DSLR cameras, the optical construction of this lens incorporates two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to deliver sharpness and reduced color fringing in every shot. The lens is also compatible with DX models where it provides a 18mm equivalent focal length.
A Frog Eye Coating repels dust and moisture from the front element of the lens allowing you to shoot even in trying environmental conditions, while a petal-shaped lens hood is incorporated to reduce flare and ghosting when working in strong lighting conditions. The compact and lightweight 12mm f/2.8 lens combines a precise manual focus design with a floating optical system to ensure accurate rendering throughout the focus range, from 7.09" to infinity.
