The NICOR DLR4 is the latest 4-inch Recessed LED Downlight ideal for standard 4-inch remodel and new construction housings. This integrated LED retrofit downlight is the perfect solution for replacing existing recessed trims and light bulbs with the latest energy efficient LED fixture. This Wet-Location rated, fully dimmable recessed downlight is designed for easy plug and play installation. The DLR4 is equipped with a medium (Edison) socket base adapter and an IDEAL quick connect to work with newer LED housings. There’s no special wiring required for the dimmer, and installation can be performed right out of the box. There are no other parts or pieces to buy. It’s that simple. In terms of quality, the DLR4 was designed to be extremely energy efficient without sacrificing material quality or LED light quality. The DLR4 produces over 630 Lumens of light while drawing only 9.3-Watts of energy. On the Color Rendering Index (CRI) scale, the DLR4 scores a 93 with an astonishing R9 value topping 50! This means that under this light, your reds will be “redder” and your blues will be “bluer” no matter which color temperature you choose (2700K, 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K). The product lifespan is rated for at least 53,000 hours, which equates to over 18 years if used every day for 8 hours. The DLR4 is also available in 4 finishes: Black, Nickel, Oil-Rubbed Bronze, and White.
